What is importance of English speaking skills?

Speaking English confidently is an important goal for many. Often, we hesitate because we are afraid of making mistakes or embarrassing ourselves in front of others. Sometimes mistakes are unavoidable. But like any other skill, you can improve your spoken English if you practice regularly and follow these simple techniques.1. ListenThe first step in improving your speaking
Definition-

You can just listen to the radio. You can read a book by yourself without any help. You can compose a letter on your own. But you can't speak for yourself! Speaking to yourself can be "dangerous," as men in white coats may arrive and take you away!!

That is why you should make every effort to find someone with whom to speak. Where can you meet people who speak English? And how does one practise speaking when alone?

At school-

If you attend a language school, you should take advantage of the opportunity to converse with your teachers and fellow students. You can still practise listening, reading, and writing at home, but you probably won't be able to practise speaking. If your teacher asks you a question, take advantage of the opportunity to respond. Try to say as much as you can. If your teacher asks you to speak in groups or pairs with other students, try to say as much as you can. Don't be concerned about your mistakes. Just say something!

Conversation clubs-

Many cities around the world have language exchange clubs where people can swap languages. Look for a conversation club in your area in your local newspaper. They are usually free, but some may charge a small fee to enter.

Pubs and Bars-

Even if you do not live in an English-speaking country, many large cities have American, British, Irish, and Australian pubs. If you can find one of these pubs, you'll probably meet a lot of people who speak English as a first or second language.

Conclusion-

Practice reading the words and numbers you see as you walk down the street. Repeat them to yourself. It is not a conversation, but it will help you "think" in English.
