Academic IELTS Writing Task 2 Topics with Sample Essays | Part-1

These are all the recent IELTS writing topics and questions from 2022.
Definition-

You will have one hour to finish the entire writing test, including tasks 1 and 2. It is advised to complete work 1 in no more than 20 minutes and devote the remaining time to task 2, as task 2 will earn you more band than activity 1. Grammar and word usage on the test will both be taken into account when determining your score. Use around 150 words for task 1 and 250 words for task 2, respectively.

Question-

There isn't much that can be done to change this; whoever controls the media also controls peoples' attitudes and opinions.

Do you agree or disagree?

Sample answer-

People frequently contend that the media dominates public opinion and that sufficient steps have not been taken to address this problem. I disagree with this idea because I think that media is important for human development and that viewers may decide what they want to see based on the content.

It is very difficult to reduce our dependency on media resources because every culture requires some sources of information in order to stay informed about events across the world or at least in their own local areas. From the very beginning to the very end, media assists in educating and informing people on a variety of fronts that not only helps them make sensible selections but also mitigates and assuages the dangers of traversing a bad path due to lack of knowledge and reality.

Everyone in society needs to learn new things. It would not be feasible to participate in social, cultural, or economic activities without that. For instance, firms should be aware of the state of the global market in order to conduct effective commerce, or people should be given access to social, cultural, and political information in order to be informed about the world around them. From this perspective, it is evident that because our society leans so heavily on information, it is quite difficult for people to disregard media sources. Additionally, with the correct mindset and the assistance of the information spread by the media, people can succeed in the field they are attracted to.

Although some claim that the liberalisation of the media hinders people's mental processes by influencing their belief structures through caricaturing the truth in their own ways, I believe that this is incorrect and that it really aids people in navigating the trapdoors of disinformation.

In conclusion, it might be claimed that the media is an important tool for keeping people informed around the world, and that it is the best information source a person could ever have if they carefully consider the presentation.

Conclusion-

To prepare for this exam all you have to do is work hard and gather as many resources as possible from books, online websites, videos etc. For further information you can visit SpeakoClub and receive a lot of information regarding IELTS. Both the exams have their own importance. Nothing is impossible, not even this exam. Once you decide to clear it then all you need is a proper dedication to clear it and achieve your life goals.
