Future Continuous Tense

The Future Continuous tense is a verb tense that indicates that something will occur in the future and continue for an expected length of time.

Structure of future continuous tense structure:

It is formed using the construction will + be + V-ing (present participle).
Examples:

1. She won’t be singing the song

2. Jake will be attending the class tomorrow

3. I asked him, “Will you be coming after your office hours?”

 

Positive sentence (will + be + verb-ing):
  1. I will be sleeping at 11am tomorrow
  2. You will be working for tomorrow’s project
  3. She will be studying for her upcoming exams
  4. It will be raining after 2 days
  5. He will be cooking tonight
  6. They will be traveling after taking rest
Negative sentences (will not+be+verb-ing)
  1. I will not be working tomorrow
  2. You will not be reading the book
  3. He will not be cooking for us
  4. She will not be studying due to a family function
  5. We will not be watching TV
  6. They will not be sleeping
Interrogative sentences 'wh' questions:
  1. What will you be doing next weekend?
  2. Where will you be working tomorrow?
  3. How will she be traveling?
  4. What will he be eating?
  5. What will they be wearing for the function?
