  • You can be really casual on a class forum.
  • It's common to omit the first few words in informal writing.
  • In a forum, keep in mind that you are a participant in a lengthy discussion with many other people, and as such, they may ask you questions.

Example-

It was fascinating to read about everyone's favourite family custom! I'm from England, but I've lived in the United States for five years, and November 5th's Bonfire Night is what I miss the most.

The fireworks, together with the bonfires, are the greatest part of Bonfire Night. and the background to it. In essence, Guy Fawkes and his companions attempted to assassinate King James I by blowing up the Houses of Parliament. They booked a chamber beneath the House of Parliament and loaded it with explosives, almost pulling it off. However, the royal palace was informed. Guy Fawkes was located by the authorities in the room guarding the explosives, and he was given a torture and death sentence.

Consequently, it is a custom that honours the king's survival. Additionally, it conveys the message that plotting against your country has consequences. There is a poem that begins, "Recall, remember the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason, and plan," that is related to it. Because of this, we create a "guy"—a life-size replica of Guy Fawkes—and burn it on the bonfire. When you think about it, it's very nasty and dark!
