3 steps to create your own theme in writing -CEFR

There are many ways to skin a cat, and there are just as many ways to create your own theme in writing. However, there are a few key steps that will help you create a theme that is both unique and effective.

1. Identify your purpose.

Before you can begin creating your theme, you need to know what you want it to achieve. What are you writing about, and what do you want your readers to take away from it? Once you have a clear purpose, you can start to develop your theme.

2. Make it specific.

Your theme should be specific enough that it can guide your writing and provide focus. It should be something that you can return to again and again to keep you on track.

3. Keep it simple.

Your theme should be simple enough that it is easy to remember and apply to your writing. If it is too complicated, you will find yourself forgetting it and straying from your purpose.

4. Test it out.

Once you have created your theme, it is important to test it out and see how it works in practice. Write a few paragraphs or even a short story using your theme and see how it feels. Make sure it is something that you are comfortable with and that it helps you to achieve your writing goals.

5. Revise as needed.

As with anything, your theme may need to be revised as you use it more. Don't be afraid to change it up if it isn't working for you. The important thing is to find a theme that works well for you and your writing.
