My last holiday-CEFR

Learn how to write about your last holiday.
Definition-

Are you a pre-intermediate (CEFR level A2) English learner? This section provides writing practice to assist you in creating short, simple texts, notes, and messages. Messages, forum posts, personal profiles, forms, and emails are all examples of text.

How to write?

1. Make sure the reader will find your writing interesting. You can achieve this by personalising it with your own memories and encounters.

2. To give your descriptions more specificity, use adjectives.

3. Use short paragraphs to group your ideas and write sentences that are simple and clear. Give each paragraph a unique subject.

4. Use linking words such as so, but, and, because, and others.

Example-

I recently returned from a five-day trip to Prague, Czech Republic. Because I lived there more than 10 years ago while attending university, I have a thorough knowledge of Prague.

Instead of staying at a motel, I stayed with a former friend. It was a lot of fun and brought back memories for me. I attended college because I wished to continue my previous activities there.. I went to the university because I wanted to accomplish everything I had done while I was a student. It now appears more contemporary and has undergone significant alteration. I also visited the grocery store close to my previous residence. The variety of meals was fascinating to me. Though they were a little more expensive than I remembered, I was nevertheless very thrilled to find my favourite cheese and chocolate cookies.
